Use of the App
Charlie’s Cheese Pal is provided for personal, non-commercial use to track restaurant visits, cheeses, photos, and ratings.
Your Content
You retain ownership of your entries, notes, and photos. Data is stored locally on your device unless you manually export or share it.
Premium Features
Premium features are offered as a one-time in-app purchase and processed through Apple App Store or Google Play. If necessary, premium features may be restored via the “Restore Purchase” option. Refunds and billing are handled by the store.
Disclaimer
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or absence of defects.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including loss of data.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after updates means you accept the revised terms.

Data Storage
Charlie’s Cheese Pal stores information about your cheese tasting history and metadata locally on your device using an embedded database. Your cheeses, ratings, notes, and photos are never uploaded to any server. If you delete the app, all data is permanently removed.
Camera & Photo Library
The app requests access to your camera and photo library solely to let you attach wine label photos to your entries. These images are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted or shared.
Advertising
This app uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and use certain device information (such as your advertising ID, device type, and general location) to serve relevant ads. Label Scanning
The premium label scanning feature uses on-device AI models (powered by ExecuTorch) to recognize text on wine label photos. All image processing happens entirely on your device — no photos or label data are sent to any server. The AI models are downloaded to your device on first use and cached locally for future scans.
Analytics
Charlie’s Cheese Pal does not collect any analytics, usage data, or personal information beyond what is described above.
Children's Privacy
This app is intended for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
